Two officers drew their sidearms and quickly moved up the grand staircase, their heavy footsteps echoing off the walls as Victoria backed away toward the framed American flag on the wall.
Victoria: Don't you dare touch me! I am a Sterling! My lawyer will have your badges by tomorrow morning!
Officer Davis: Hands behind your back, ma'am! Do not make this any worse for yourself!
Victoria: Get your hands off my dress! Dominic, tell them to stop! Tell them it was a joke!
Dominic: The only joke here was you thinking you could commit murder and get away with it because of your last name.
The female officer grabbed Victoria's wrists firmly, snapping the cold steel handcuffs around her wrists with two sharp clicks. Victoria let out a dramatic shriek, struggling against the grip as she was escorted toward the top of the stairs.
Victoria: Maya! You ungrateful little brat! You destroyed everything my husband built!
Maya: My father built this company on honesty and hard work, Victoria. You destroyed yourself with your own hatred.
Officer Miller: Bring her down slowly, team. Watch the steps.
The officers led Victoria down the grand staircase, her expensive red dress dragging along the steps as she tried to pull away from the officers' grip. Her styled hair was falling messily around her face, her eyes wide with frantic, helpless rage.
