Maya: I didn't come here today to take your home away from you, Victoria. I only wanted to speak with you like human beings and share my father's memory.
Victoria: You came here to steal my status! You came to turn my friends against me and make a fool out of me in front of the whole city!
Maya: You made a fool out of yourself the moment you placed your greed above a human life.
Dominic: The entire house is wired with high-definition security cameras, Victoria. Richard installed them six months ago to monitor his health. Every angle of that balcony is recorded on a cloud server that you can't touch.
Victoria: You set me up... both of you planned this against me!
Dominic: You set yourself up when you decided to push a girl over a railing because of a bank account.
Down the long driveway outside, the loud, high-pitched wail of police sirens began to echo through the trees, growing louder and closer by the second.
Maya: They're here, Dominic...
Dominic: Good. Let's get you up onto the sofa so the paramedics can check your wrist and back.
Dominic carefully helped Maya stand up from the floor, supporting her waist as she took a few tentative steps toward the leather couch in the main living hall.
Victoria: Dominic, wait! Please! We can work something out! I will give you a million dollars right now if you delete that video file!
Dominic: You don't have a million dollars to give, Victoria. The judge froze all of Richard's personal and business accounts this morning pending the probate hearing.
Victoria: Frozen? You froze my credit cards?
Dominic: Mr. Vance filed the petition at eight o'clock this morning. You don't have access to a single dollar of the Sterling estate anymore.
The heavy front double doors of the mansion swung wide open as four uniformed police officers rushed inside, their tactical boots clicking heavily against the marble floor as they surveyed the foyer.
Officer Miller: Police! Nobody move! Where is the victim?
Dominic: Over here on the sofa, Officer. She's shaken up, but I managed to catch her before she hit the marble floor.
Officer Miller: Who is the individual who committed the assault?
Dominic: Standing right up there on the second-floor balcony in the red dress. Her name is Victoria Sterling.
Victoria: Get out of my house! You have no right to enter my private property without a warrant!
Officer Miller: Officers, move upstairs and secure the suspect immediately!
