David stepped directly between Julian and little eight year old Lily.
He reached down and gently placed a hand on Lily's shoulder.
David: Are you hurt anywhere, sweetheart?
Lily: I was so scared, Daddy.
David: You never have to be scared while I am here.
Julian adjusted his dark red silk tie with trembling hands.
Julian: Security needs to throw this dangerous man out right now!
Victoria: He has no legal right to interrupt our wedding service!
David pulled a set of folded paper documents from his jacket pocket.
He held the papers up high so the front row guests could see.
David: These are the court papers you tried to hide from me!
Julian: Those documents are completely fake and meaningless!
David: They prove you forged my signature on the family trust!
A loud wave of murmurs rippled across the grand wedding room.
Several older guests leaned forward to hear every single word.
Victoria: David is lying because he lost his personal fortune!
David: I lost nothing because the judge stayed the execution order!
Lily grabbed her father's sleeve and looked up with hope.
Lily: Is mommy really sick like they told me?
David's eyes softened as he looked down at his daughter's sweet face.
David: No, sweetheart, your mother is not sick at all.
Julian: Do not fill her head with ridiculous fantasy stories!
David: You paid the clinic to keep her locked away from us!
Victoria's face turned completely pale under her thick bridal makeup.
She gripped her flower bouquet so hard the stems bent in half.
Victoria: You cannot prove a single word of those wild accusations!
David: The state police are already outside in the parking lot.
Julian took two nervous steps back toward the flower display.
Julian: This is my property and my private wedding event!
David: This hall belongs to the family foundation you tried to steal!
Lily pulled closer to her father's leg for protection.
Lily: Daddy, is mommy going to come home soon?
David: Look behind you near the entrance doors, my darling.
Lily slowly turned her head toward the back of the white hall.
Near the heavy open door, a frail woman stood peeking inside.
She wore a simple beige coat and held onto the wooden frame.
Her pale face was wet with quiet tears of relief and love.
Clara: Lily... my sweet baby girl...
Lily: Mommy!
Lily broke into a run down the long polished aisle floor.
Her small shoes clicked loudly against the white marble ground.
Julian: Stop that child right now!
David: Do not step toward her, Julian!
David gripped Julian's tuxedo lapels tightly and held him back.
Julian tried to push David away but could not break free.
Julian: You are ruining everything I built!
David: You built your life on dirty lies and stolen money!
