Victoria stood frozen on the marble floor near the big American flag hanging tall.
She realized that her comfortable lifestyle in the luxury mansion was slipping away.
Victoria: You cannot throw me out over a simple childhood misunderstanding.
Richard: This was not a misunderstanding, Victoria, this was pure cruelty.
Victoria: We are legally married, and this is my home as well!
Richard: That will change before the end of this very week.
He carried Maya over to the comfortable living room sofa and sat her down.
He handed her the pink teddy bear to help keep her quiet and calm.
Richard: Stay right here with your bear while I talk to Victoria.
Maya: Please do not let her near me again, Daddy.
Richard: She will never come near you ever again, I promise you.
Richard walked over to the small wall tablet that controlled the security system.
Victoria's face turned completely white as she watched his finger touch the screen.
She had forgotten that Richard installed hidden high-definition cameras in every main room.
Richard: Let us review the ceiling camera footage from two minutes ago.
Victoria: Richard, wait, there is no need to check any cameras!
Richard: Why are you nervous if you did nothing wrong today?
Richard pulled up the clear video playback on the wall monitor screen immediately.
The video clearly showed Victoria pulling Maya toward the open railing with force.
It showed her bending down and speaking harshly into the young child's ear.
Then it showed her letting go of the child's arm without trying to catch her.
Richard: Look at this screen right now and tell me that was an accident.
Victoria stepped back toward the front entrance while trembling with visible fear.
Victoria: I was just frustrated because she never listens to my instructions!
Richard: She is four years old, Victoria, she is just a baby!
Victoria: You give her all your attention and leave me with nothing!
Richard: My child will always come before anyone else in my life.
Victoria: I made a terrible mistake, please give me one more chance!
Richard: You proved today that you are a danger to my daughter.
He tapped another icon on the screen to contact his private security team.
