Elena returned to the mountain cabin late that afternoon.
The sun was setting behind the high green peak horizons.
She stood on the exact same wooden balcony once again.
She wore the green top and the western silver belt proudly.
The property was officially registered under her own name now.
She intended to turn the cabin into a retreat for artists.
Her mother’s original vision for the land would finally happen.
Elena placed both hands firmly onto her hips with a smile.
She looked directly into the sunlight warming her face.
She felt a deep, peaceful connection to her late mother.
No corrupt relative could ever take away her heritage again.
She raised her right hand and pointed toward the scenic view.
Elena: This home is safe now, Mom.
A gentle mountain breeze rustled the tall pine trees nearby.
It felt like a warm answer echoing across the open valley.
Elena leaned against the railing and took a deep breath.
She knew her life was starting a fresh new chapter today.
The wealth and freedom were finally in honest hands.
She smiled brightly as she looked out over her home.
Everything she had fought for was finally complete.
