Two local police officers walked quickly up the front porch stairs into the house.

Mark pointed directly at Victoria and her nervous corporate attorney.

Victoria: This is a simple family misunderstanding between brother and sister!
Officer: Ma'am, please step away from the child and keep your hands visible.
The second officer stepped forward and picked up the lawyer's briefcase from the floor.
Lawyer: I wish to cooperate fully with the investigation regarding Miss Sterling's actions.
Victoria glared at her attorney with absolute fury in her eyes.
