Saved From The Fall

The Secret Heir dropped from the Mansion Balcony

Maria: I'VE GOT YOU, YOU'RE SAFE NOW! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

The infant wailed loudly, her small cries echoing off the high ceilings of the mansion foyer. Maria knelt on the cold marble floor, clutching the baby tightly against her chest while tears streamed down her face. Evelyn scrambled across the floor, throwing her arms around the maid and her child in deep emotional distress.

Evelyn: Oh God! Is she okay?! Is she breathing?!

Maria: She's safe, ma'am! I caught her! She's unharmed!

Eleanor: IT WAS AN ACCIDENT! SHE SLIPPED FROM MY HANDS! DON'T TOUCH HER! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Up on the grand staircase, Eleanor pointed down aggressively, her voice screeching across the room as she tried to defend her horrific action. But her voice was cut short as the front doors slammed against the wall.

Julian: MAYA! I'VE GOT YOU! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Julian Sterling strode rapidly across the white marble floor, his eyes locked onto the maid and his newborn daughter. He dropped to his knees beside Maria, taking the baby safely into his arms and pulling her against his beige suit coat while breathing a heavy sigh of relief.

Evelyn: Julian... you came...

Julian: I got your message about the DNA test, Evelyn. I drove straight from the airport.

Eleanor: Julian! Thank goodness you're here! That clumsy maid almost killed your daughter!

Julian stood up slowly, holding the baby securely in his left arm. He turned sharply toward Eleanor as she rushed down the stairs toward him. As she reached the landing, Julian extended his arm and aggressively shoved Eleanor away, sending her stumbling back hard against the wood-paneled wall.

Eleanor: How dare you push me! I am your mother!

Julian: RICHARD, GET OUT OF MY HOUSE! PLEASE LISTEN TO ME! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Eleanor: Julian, stop shouting! You're making a scene in front of the staff!

Julian: I saw you drop my child off that railing with my own eyes, Eleanor! Don't you dare lie to me!

Eleanor: She tripped me! The baby was squirming!

Julian: I stood outside those glass doors and watched you hold her over the edge! You tried to murder my daughter to protect your control over the trust fund!

Eleanor gasped in shock, clutching her face in panic as Julian cornered her against the banister. Her face turned pale as she realized that her usual manipulation was failing entirely.

Evelyn: She wanted to stop the DNA test, Julian. She knew what the lab results would prove.

Julian: What lab results, Evelyn?

Evelyn: The results came back this morning from the Dallas County lab. The court courier delivered them right before you arrived.

Evelyn reached into her handbag and pulled out an official brown envelope stamped with a red state seal, holding it up for everyone in the foyer to see.
