Margaret: Victoria... what is he talking about? What offshore company?
Victoria: Mother, don't listen to him! He's trying to turn us against each other!
Margaret: Did you take money from the family business without telling me?!
David: She didn't just take money from the business, Margaret. She took your private life insurance payout too.
Margaret: What?! Victoria, answer me right now!
Victoria: I did it to save our investments, Mother! The stock market was dropping, and I had to cover our losses in New York!
David: She covered her own personal gambling debts at the casino in Oklahoma, Margaret. Page eight of that folder has all the bank receipts.
Gasping and shocked chatter erupted among the high-society guests who were still standing around the ruined patio. Whispers filled the air as people pulled out their phones, snapping photos of the crashed cake and the frantic argument between the two wealthy women.
Guest A: Did you hear that? Victoria stole her own mother's insurance money!
Guest B: And they kicked that little boy's food plate... what awful people!
Margaret: Shut up! All of you, get off my property right now!
David: They don't have to leave, Margaret. But you and Victoria have thirty minutes to pack your personal belongings and get out of my sight.
Victoria: You can't throw us out in front of everyone like this! Have you no shame?!
David: Where was your shame when you kicked a soda plate out of a six-year-old child's hands? Where was your shame when you told him he deserved worse?
David walked over to Leo, lifting the young boy onto his hip and holding him securely. Leo wrapped his small arms around his father's neck, looking down at his grandmother and aunt with quiet, calm eyes.
David: Officer Vance, please escort these two women upstairs to gather their clothes. If they try to touch any of the estate's antique artwork or silver, arrest them immediately.
Security Officer: Right away, Mr. Sterling. Ladies, please follow me inside.
