The Confrontation At The Stairs

The Rich Stepmother Tried To Ruin My Baby Inheritance

Victoria backed away until her shoulders hit the grand wall.

Her face showed panic as Julian stood firmly before her.

He did not raise a hand, but his voice shook.

Julian: You tried to destroy my family's historic estate records!

Victoria: That estate money was supposed to belong to me!

Julian: You never cared about my family or my daughter!

Victoria: I deserved every single dollar in that trust fund!

Julian stepped right between Victoria and the nursery room door.

He barred her path so she could not enter again.

His heart pounded hard inside his chest with protective rage.

He knew he had to act fast to end this madness.

Julian: Get out of this house before I call the sheriff.

Victoria: You cannot throw me out of this luxury penthouse!

Julian: My lawyer has already revoked your access to everything.

Victoria pulled a small silver key out of her velvet pocket.

It was the key to the main family document box upstairs.

She tried to push past Julian toward the corner room.

Julian stood like a solid rock wall in her way.

He reached out and blocked the doorway with firm strength.

Julian: Hand over that key right now, Victoria!

Victoria: Never! I will burn these papers before you get them!

She turned around quickly and ran down the long corridor.

Julian followed her closely, keeping his distance to stay calm.

She ducked into the master office and slammed the door.

The loud click of the lock resonated through the air.

Julian knocked hard on the heavy wood panel three times.

Julian: Open this door before the police break it down!

Inside the room, papers rustled in a complete hurry.

Victoria was searching for the original land title deeds now.

She wanted to hide them before the police cars arrived.

Julian took his phone out of his deep jacket pocket.

He dialed three digits and placed the speaker to his ear.

Julian: Emergency service, I need officers at my address immediately.

Victoria: You are making the biggest mistake of your life!

Julian stood guard outside the locked door without moving back.

He knew the truth would come to light very soon.

His baby daughter woke up and let out a soft cry.

Julian walked over to her cradle and picked her up.

He held her close and whispered soft words of comfort.

Julian: Everything is okay, sweetheart, I am right here now.

The sound of police sirens echoed in the distance outside.
