Julian snatched the heavy pile of white papers from the stroller.
His hands shook as he read the title printed on top.
It was a fraudulent land deed for the entire family estate.
Martha stepped between Victoria and the exit hallway.
Martha: She was planning to move those files out today!
Julian: You tried to forge my father's official signature!
Victoria gripped the wooden railing behind her back tight.
Victoria: That estate belonged to my side of the family first!
Julian: It belongs to Leo and his legal trust fund!
Victoria: A baby cannot manage a multi-million dollar mortgage!
Julian: That is why I am his legal guardian, Victoria!
Martha looked down the long hallway toward the nursery room.
She heard the soft sound of a baby crying in the distance.
Martha: The baby is safe inside his room with the nanny.
Julian let out a huge breath of pure relief.
Julian: Thank goodness Leo is safe in his crib.
He looked back at his wife with intense disappointment.
Julian: You used a fake baby pram to sneak papers out!
Victoria: The security guards never search the baby's items!
Martha: I saw her sneaking into the office earlier this morning.
Victoria: Keep your quiet mouth shut, you stupid maid!
Julian: Do not speak to Martha like that ever again!
Julian walked over to the top of the grand staircase.
He pointed his finger toward the heavy front doors downstairs.
Julian: I want you out of this house right now!
Victoria: You cannot throw me out of my own home!
Julian: This home belongs entirely to the family trust!
Victoria took a quick step toward Julian with anger.
Victoria: If I go down, I will take everyone with me!
Julian: You have no power here anymore, Victoria.
Victoria glared at Martha with pure bitterness and hatred.
Victoria: You ruined everything I worked so hard for!
Martha: I only did my job to protect this family.
Suddenly, another door at the end of the hall opened.
A woman in a sharp dark business suit walked out slowly.
It was Eleanor, the lead family estate attorney.
She was holding a dark yellow folder in her hands.
Eleanor: I have heard every single word of this conversation.
Victoria froze completely as she saw the lawyer walking forward.
Victoria: Eleanor, please do not listen to these crazy lies!
Eleanor: The law does not deal in lies, Mrs. Sterling.
Eleanor tapped the official folder against her palm calmly.
Eleanor: We already ran a full audit on the trust fund.
Julian: Did you find the missing money, Eleanor?
Eleanor: Yes, and the paper trail leads directly to Victoria.
Victoria stumbled backward as her eyes widened in fear.
Victoria: That money was spent on maintaining the estate!
Eleanor: You transferred two million dollars to a private offshore account.
Julian shook his head in total disbelief and disgust.
Julian: How could you steal from an orphaned baby?
Victoria: He does not even know what money is yet!
Martha: That money is for his future education and medical care!
Victoria: Shut up, Martha, you are just a servant!
Julian: Martha has more integrity than you will ever have!
Eleanor pulled out a small black cell phone from her jacket.
Eleanor: The authorities are already waiting right outside the gates.
