A Cruel Woman Tried to Steal an Heir in Dallas

The quiet murmurs inside the grand foyer of the Dallas mansion fell silent as the heavy crystal chandeliers reflected off the pristine white marble floor. Standing in the middle of the hall, Victoria adjusted her golden sequined gown, her manicured fingers tightening around nine-month-old Toby. The baby, dressed in a soft grey vest, cried hysterically, his small face flushed red with tears as he reached aimlessly into the cold air. Beside them, a framed American flag hung neatly against the white wall, capturing the tense stillness of the high-society gathering.

Victoria: Be quiet, you miserable little brat! Stop your crying this instant!

Toby: WAAAH! Ba-ba!

Victoria: Look at you, making a scene in front of my guests. You don't belong in this family, and you certainly don't belong in this mansion.

Victoria's face remained cold and serious, her eyes showing zero affection for the weeping infant. She held him loosely, completely indifferent to his distress as she looked around for the estate manager. But as she shifted her weight, her balance slipped on the polished marble floor, and the infant began to slide dangerously out of her grip.

Victoria: Oops. Slippery little thing, aren't you?

Before the baby could strike the hard stone, a figure in a black-and-white uniform darted forward with frantic speed. Maria, the family's young maid, dropped to her knees on the marble floor, sliding across the tiles to catch the falling child in her arms.

Maria: No, the baby! I've got you, you're safe!

Victoria: How dare you dive in front of me like a maniac, you insolent servant!

Maria: You almost dropped him on the marble! He could have been severely hurt!

Victoria: Mind your tongue! He is my fiancé's son, and I will handle him however I please!

Maria cradled the weeping baby securely in her arms on the cold floor, pulling him tightly against her chest with a look of deep emotional relief and concern. Toby buried his small, tear-stained face into her uniform, his frantic sobs gradually slowing to soft hiccups.

Maria: You're safe now, little Toby. I won't let anyone hurt you.

Victoria: Give me that baby right now, Maria! Hand him over or you're fired!

Maria: I won't let you touch him again today! You held him like he was garbage!

Victoria pointed an aggressive finger straight down at the kneeling maid, her face twisting into a harsh, furious sneer. But before she could take a step forward, the heavy oak double doors of the mansion swung wide open under the afternoon light.

Richard, a wealthy Dallas corporate executive dressed in a sharp black suit, rushed rapidly inside. Seeing his infant son in the maid's arms and his fiancée standing over them with a harsh snarl, his heart froze in his chest. What he didn't know yet was that the woman he was about to marry had been planning to destroy his family all along, and the dark truth was about to blow their entire world apart.
